ABOUT MERYL
Meryl Valerie is a Swiss, French, and American photographer born and raised in Switzerland, now based between New York and Europe, with family in her hometown Zurich, as well as roots in Paris and Nice. Over the past 15 years in New York City, she has built a multifaceted creative career—beginning in cinema as an actress, then moving into floral design, where she ran her own business creating floral installations for weddings and editorial shoots.
Her creative path evolved into prop styling, where she contributed to campaigns and features for renowned publications such as Vogue and Gentleman’s Journal. In 2019, she transitioned into photography, quickly establishing herself with a distinctive, cinematic visual style shaped by her background in florals and storytelling.
Since then, Meryl has worked with esteemed clients including The St. Regis Hotel, Ulla Johnson, Altuzarra, Area, Colbo, CUUP, and Ormaie Paris. Her work blends a refined aesthetic sensibility with an emotional, narrative-driven approach.
Now, Meryl brings this depth of experience to the world of wedding photography. Inspired by her multicultural upbringing and a life enriched by global travel—including years spent sailing with her family—Meryl is passionate about capturing moments that are both intimate and timeless. With a natural eye for beauty and a heartfelt connection to people, she approaches each wedding as a unique visual journey.
For Meryl, wedding photography is more than documenting a day—it’s about telling a love story through images that feel cinematic, poetic, and true.
